Following an
intensive poll of clients, the following changes to our hours are to
be introduced on Sept. 2000. We shall stay open on Mondays until 7:00pm. By an overwhelming
majority or clients said they would prefer more evening hours instead
of Saturday morning hours, therefore the changes. Our Main goal is to
give our clients the very best service.

Ear Diseases are
the most common problem we see at our clinic. They are difficult to
deal with and ask anyone with a Cocker or a Lab with ears, they will
convey the chronic problems that never seem to get better. Well
"mea cuplpa" the veterinary profession have been unable to
deal properly with ear problems due to the basic fact that we have
been unable to "visualize the eardrum" when examining pets.
Whether the eardrum is patent or nor decides what type of treatment
the pet needs. Most dogs and cats with chronic ear problems do not
have an eardrum present.
|
|
This means that
cleaners, dryers and most common ear treatments are causing more
damage than good. Basically with the eardrums gone the pet develops
disease of the middle and inner ears. We have acquired a Veterinary
Videoscope. This is a camera that allows us, with a sedated pet to:
• Visualize the eardrum if present
• Used to Flush, clean, scrape, and suction the ear.
What we offer our clients is the ability to give an accurate
diagnosis of the pet's problem, and the most up to date treatment of
them. Nothing more nothing less.

heartworm and flea prevention programs. Going into the Fall Ticks

both Fleas and Ticks. It is active for approx. 6 weeks, and is
